In the 1950s, Kurt Hoffmann shot the exterior shots for the film "Raub der Sabinerinnen" at the Seeschloss. The Havelstudios later took over the building complex. They produced films such as "Himmel über Berlin" by Wim Wenders or the fairy tale film Frau Holle from the series Six in One fell swoop.
